Hire Agreement and Operating Instructions for Inflatable

 

PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY. WHEN HIRING AN INFLATABLE YOU MUST SATISFY YOURSELF THAT YOU UNDERSTAND AND CAN COMPLY WITH THE AGREEMENT AND THE INSTRUCTIONS.

 

These instructions are intended to help your children have a fun time and ensure their safety. Use your own common sense and have a great time.

 

Operation of the inflatable is handed over to the hirer by the owner when set-up is complete.

 

 

Safety Guidelines

 

  • It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury to users or damage to the inflatable.

 

  • A responsible adult must closely supervise the inflatable at all times.

 

  • The inflatable hired is only suitable for children up to the age of 12.

 

  • A maximum of 8 children should be allowed in the inflatable at one time although less may be appropriate for bigger children. Limit numbers according to the age and size of the children using it. It is advised that children of mixed ages should not be using the inflatable at the same time.

 

  • To avoid neck/back injuries flips are definitely not allowed

 

  • All footwear, jewellery, glasses or any other object that could cause damage to other children or equipment, must be removed before entering the inflatable.

 

  • To avoid choking and mess no food, drinks or lollies to be allowed on the inflatable.

 

  • No smoking or BBQs on or near the inflatable.

 

  • No pets to be allowed on or near the inflatable.

 

  • Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step. Children should sit and slide off the step when exiting.

 

  • Please make the area behind the inflatable, where the electrical blower is located, out of bounds for children.

 

  • The inflatable should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area.

 

  • If it starts to rain, switch the power off and remove the blower to a dry location until the rain stops. Reconnect the blower when the rain has stopped and turn the power back on. Dry the inflatable off with towels before allowing the children back on.

 

  • Should the equipment fail for any reason, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately. If assistance is required please ring  0421669091.

 

  • No unauthorised person should move the inflatable or tamper with the electrical equipment.

 

  • The inflatable must be returned in an acceptable condition, i.e. clean, unsoiled and undamaged. If it is badly soiled or damaged the hirer will be expected to pay an additional charge to cover the cleaning costs and our loss of earnings if the inflatable is rendered out of commission for any reason.

 

The inflatable that is subject to this hire agreement is in good working order and repair and this is so acknowledged by the hirer.

 

 

The Hirer acknowledges that he/she has read this document fully, and has been instructed about and fully understands the safe operation of this inflatable that is the subject of this hire agreement.
